Now available on Bandcamp, an updated version of my surprisingly popular* remix tape: What Happens When An Insomniac Dreams.
I like this a lot more now that I weeded out some terrible remixes as well as added a couple of tracks that were originally released as bonuses, and not on the actual initial release.

*we’re about to hit 3000 downloads, which is nuts for me.
If you’ve been following me on social media long enough, you’ve most likely heard me ramble about my favorite album of all time, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot.
A couple weeks ago it turned 10 years old, which is crazy seeing as how it could’ve been released yesterday and it still would’ve been seen as groundbreaking in my opinion.
As part of the 10-year festivities, a few websites sort of re-visited the album and reviewed it again, with 10 years of perspective. Just when I thought I couldn’t love my favorite album any more, I read these awesome articles.
The first article, from American Songwriter, delves a little bit into the technical aspects of the album, as well as the “conspiracy theories” that surround it in regards to 9/11. That one can be read HERE.
The second article is my favorite, and it’s featured on The Atlantic. This one is essentially just a review of the album in regards to the actual message being sent. The crazy part of this album is how highly regarded it is, and rarely anyone ever talks about the actual lyrics and message, rather focusing on the experimental production that led to Warner Bros Records refusing to release it.
I’ve listened to this album hundreds of times, and this article perfectly paints the overall message of the album. It’s beautiful, and it can be read HERE.
CHASING STARS was featured on this compilation album assembled by Foster (aka Evan Duncan). My song appears as a snippet of “Moscow” from Caverns & Castles. Elements of “The Lightbulb (Interlude)” were also used for the intro to the project. The album is called ChaOs, and this is what Foster has to say about it:
With this project, I gathered producers who were way more talented than myself with an attempt to create a beautiful sound. I think this album creates a feeling of true innocence which is what I wanted the listener to feel. After you listen, go play a game of sonic or maybe link up with an old friend you haven’t seen in a while.
//Don’t lose that beauty.
The album can be downloaded for free by clicking on the cover, or clicking HERE.
